I. Summary

Due to decreased market demand, MultiTech is consolidating the embedded analog modem product line. We are announcing the V.34 product line (MT5692SMI-34 models) are changing status from Active to Near-End-of-Life (NEOL) effective immediately. Replacement V.92 models are available as outlined in the table below.

The V.92 models provide the same functionality as the V.34 models with the addition of support for V.92/56K connections.

Last Time Buy Date: While supplies last
Limited availability, orders will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.

Last Ship Date/End-of-Life (EOL) Date: June 13, 2022

Note: All orders placed for products listed in this announcement require a Non-Cancellable, Non-Returnable NCNR) agreement. Last time ship dates are negotiable with a NCNR agreement. Please contact MultiTech customer service for a copy of the agreement and to place a final purchase order.

IV. Warranty and Support

MultiTech will provide technical support and repair or exchange of the products listed in this announcement through the warranty period of the installed device. However, no firmware/software updates or maintenance releases will take place post NEOL date.

V. Suggested Action Plan

We recommend the following actions be taken:

• Work with MultiTech customer service if your company is interested in placing an NCNR (NonCancellable, Non-Returnable) purchase order for any remaining devices that you require. .
• Forward this announcement to others within your organization who are actively involved in the sale or support of the devices listed in this announcement. .
• Notify existing customers who have been using these devices to see if they wish to purchase any additional units..
• Work with existing customers on a migration plan to move to the recommended replacement model.
